Comment Policy FAQ

Why was my comment deleted?

Your comment was deleted because it violated our comment policy and/or our terms of use.

Why was my account deleted?

Your account was removed because you posted one or more comments that violated our comment policy and/or ourterms of use.

While we try to be fair about deleting accounts, your actions may require us to act immediately.

I'm a theater. How can I remove comments from my page?

Theater pages do not belong to theaters... they belong to all users of Cinema Treasures, so we do not accommodate blanket requests to remove comments unless they actually violate our comment policy and/or terms of use.

Since movie theaters provide a public service, it’s appropriate for our users to provide reviews of their experiences, even if those experiences are negative. If you find a negative review of your movie theater, the best response is to respond appropriately with another comment.

If you do find a comment that’s in violation of our policies, please contact us and we’ll remove it.
