Got a scoop about your favorite Cinema Treasure? Tell us!!!

If you have news about a specific theater or general theater preservation news, this is the place to tell us. We're looking for news about openings, closings, fundraising events, preservation alerts, upcoming events, industry developments, and anything else that relates to movie theaters.

Blog Submission Tips:

• Please summarize the article in your own words. (Due to copyright issues, we are not allowed to repost articles on this site, so make sure to include a summary!)

• Adding news from another website? Make sure to include a link to the original article.

• If the theater is listed on Cinema Treasures, include a link to the theater. Not sure if the theater is listed? Search our theater guide. Also — read our Adding News FAQ for info on adding theater links.

• Add the theater's location to the start of your story (e.g. 'New York, NY — The New Amsterdam…')

• Have a photo to include with your story? Just and we'll add it!

• If your story is time-sensitive and needs to be published by a certain date, start your Subject field with 'URGENT', 'PUBLISH TOMORROW', or a similar instruction. (You can also if it's extremely urgent.)
