MORGANTOWN, WV — Thanks to the efforts of concerned citizens and local officials, the Metropolitan Theatre continues to work on a major renovation, according to a report in the Sunday Gazette-Mail.

Thanks to a $1 million grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the first phase of renovations, which were begun in 1999, are now complete, leaving the Metropolitan with a repaired roof, a new heating and cooling system, and a total electrical rewiring.

The next phase will bring a new marquee, restored auditorium, and the restoration of balcony and orchestra boxes for a total cost of $900,000.

For more details, read the full, three-page report.

We currently have a great offer for your refurbishing project. Although we can not help with funding, we can offer great Auditorium seats (fully cushioned \ floor mount) for a very great price.

For $59 USD we have numerous very well maintained seats, digital pictures can be provided, that could drastically reduce your renovation costs.

Give us a call (780) 432-4765 if you would be interested in these very historical seats.
