Can anyone identify this theater??

The marquee says LOEW’S PICCADILLY. The sign on the storefront to the right shows the letters “ROCHES…” which would suggest Rochester NY? Rochester MN? The reverse is marked in pencil “now Paramount – as in early 1920s”.

Anyone??! Thanks for ANY help you can give!

This is the Piccadilly (1912-1974, 2259 seats.) in Rochester, New York. It was later known as the Paramount and Century.

There is a CT site for this theatre under Paramount (the one on Clinton Ave.)

Thanks Fred. When i tried to search on “Piccidilly” the site did not come up – probably because it is primarily listed under “Paramount”.

And thanks to EVERYONE who has emailed to confirm that this is indeed in Rochester NY. : )

That photo is already linked to on the Paramount Theater page. If you do a search for “Piccadilly” and no theater for Rochester appears, put a checkmark in the “previous names” box and search again. The Paramount Theater in Rochester, NY will appear on the list.
