HARRIMAN, TN — I have a running account of the progress on the Princess restoration.
The old seats were removed last week, and this week the new roof is going on. The work is expected to last 3 weeks. After that the facade work begins then comes the new marquee.
The inside work is expected to last through the rest of 2010. A 2 to 3 day celebration is planned once the Princess is ready for unveiling!

Good keep us posted.
Currently the old seating is being stored. If they cannot be restored, then they will be made available to the public. However, that decision will not come until late fall or early winter of 2011.

My name is jeffery overstreet, Im looking for info on the hilltop drive in theater. I was born and raised in north augusta and went to the theater meney time as a child. it was the first job my father had at the age of 14 , and me and my mom ran a exxon station across from the theater for years, mom is now in a home and dad has passed.If anyone has info ,,,,,email me
