Pleasant Hill’s domed theater may soon be history

PLEASANT HILL, CA — The famed CineArts 5, one of the last standing domed theaters, may be demolished. SyWest Development wants to revitalize the southern half of the shopping center where it’s located and plan to build a Dick’s Sporting Goods and some specialty shops in its place.
