Abandoned school building becomes cinema

DETROIT, MI — What used to be Burton International School is now Cass City Cinema through a unique case of adaptive reuse. It was a natural solution given the building’s history as a cinema and it’s just one of many spaces in the area that had to change its identity due to hard times.
