I was wondering about the name change. Thanks for the info.
The venue closed, again,in late August because its owner failed to get a state tax license and because he owes the city and state money. Its sister club,Drink & Drag, located in the same building, has also closed. No word on when either will open.
Kenneth,I lived in Fontana from July 1983 to January 2006,though i briefly lived in San Bernardino from March 1994 to January 2001,and your info is wrong about its time as The Delmar. I went there regularly until they switched to Spanish films in around 1985-6,then it became a church until they closed it. Not sure what they’re doing with the building now.
No longer a discount house, charges $7.00 general now.
When the Meralta on Downey Avenue closed in 1978,This place became the place to see Disney releases old and new.
A pre-school and an adjoining(via shared parking lot in the middle)US Bank office now sit where the Avenue Theatre was.
SRO Theatres took over this and other Loewstheatres that didn’t go to GCC,including The Paramount/El Capitan in Hollywood and The Crest in Westwood, sometime around 1976.
Oh.you beat me to it! They also have a Tuesday “Date Night” special for $16 per couple.
Was it an AMC from May 1977 to March 1979 when i lived in the Houston suburb of Aldine?

Soon to be part of the Cinemark chain. Most likely under the Century name like the others in town, though it would be nice to call it a Cinemark.
It’s currently being being renovated as “The World’s Largest Gay Nightclub” to be called Krave Massive. It should be open by early January. Construction pics and a floor plan can be seen Krave Massive’s Facebook page.
Carmike already has one location in Fort Wayne,IN. Why would they buy the Rave a few miles away? Will it go with a bargain price policy the way the Coventry 13 when Starplex bought them from Regal?
A January 28,1974 story in Box Office Magazine about the theatres' reopening by a Kansas couple who said that no R or X movies would play there after the previous owner turned it into a short-lived porn theatre.(National General closed it in ‘73)
Get ready to change the listing to Regal San Bernardino Theatre Square Stadium 14..or something like that.

Opens Friday June 29th.
Went here one time to see “Postcards From The Edge” with my aunt in 1990.
A Spanish language church sits here now.
Maya was supposed to reopen the closed Cinemastar 20 in San Bernardino,California but, apparently, defaulted on a payment to the city and pulled out, paving the way for Regal to step in. So,i wouldn’t put any trust in Maya Cinemas.
The original Paramount release(1975)of “The First Nudie Musical” opened here and at the Fox in Hollywood.
I’m going to buy the Kindle edition for $16.49.
