When the drive-in was in operation the trailer park was to the left of the entrance, once the drive-in closed the drive-in and the field to the right of the entrance to the drive-in became a trailer park.,
Having lived in Salt Lake City for 8 years I know where the Drive-In was, I did frequent the Woodland often during the summer. You are right about the Marquee and the entrance being in two different places like I commented in my Jan. 8 comments. Your 4021 Soouth 700 east is off a bit.
The Westlake Drive-In was located at the corner of W 10th and High School Dr., there was a entrance on W. 10th as well as High School DR. According to their display ads the address was the same as in the header. I posted a copy of the map from one of their ads.
Cimaron, yes I was referring to a photo link of the Midwest Theatre auditorium that was posted by Kewpie where he referred that it looked like and organ on the left front stage. It has since been removed.
For some reason or another google will not map the address, the Megaplex website lists the address as 3620 South 2400 West but it still maps is past Valley Fair Mall. Google does show the Cinemark in the Valley Fair Mall.
Steve remove them from this page and resubmit them on the Parkway page.

That was my understanding too so where would raysson get the idea that Edwards was going to take over the Southpoint?
Opened as the Davison Opera House in January of 1875. Prior to the Davidson the only theatre in Fort Scott was the National Theatre.
Address: 105 West Main St.
I thought that Edwards was under the Regal Banner, why would it be Edwards that is interested in the Southpoint and not Regal?
The address could be listed as 1015 Highway 63 or So. Jefferies Blvd. they are one in the same road.
Actual address for this drive-in was 3609 Bardstown Rd.
