It looks like the owners have made a few improvements to the theater. The theater has been repainted with a better color scheme and fake brick has been put on the walls inside and out (even on the ceiling outside. lol). Though still not great, it looks a lot better than previous iterations I have seen in photos.

Yale Cinema 1905-1983, Streamline styling, 500 seats, Barton Cinemas. Southside OKC’s first theatre. While the facade received several facelifts through many decades, the auditorium always retained its original, nickelodeon, Plain Jane appearance.

This theater is in really bad shape. The owner refuses to keep it up to code and the pro wrestling group has had to relocate to allow the owner to bring it up to code. The facade is even worse than it looks in the above picture…but at least it is still standing!
