Robin, somewhere on our theatres,Columbia 1 and 2,Imperial,Didn’t see it here.I mentioned i took about six hours of our theatre reunions from the 1985-86-87 videos that Bill shot most of, and cut them down to a watchable 95 minutes or so of DVD and i sent out invites to the gang from 1972 to about 1980 and i got zero response,I know its summmer, but I think I am finished with reunions! If you or Cathy,Diane or Bill want to meet at a eating spot one day let me know,i will be glad to get there and at least talk about the old days at National Hills Theatre,i am just at a loss for words, last fall we had 10 or 12 show up for a get together, but now i get nothing! I would show them to you all,but heck you would only know Me,The Tinneys,Bill and Tom Weidmeirer. And there is some awful rough language by adults that outta know better.

I have to be off topic a minute…I know I told you all that I would be posting your pictures, but my AC unit went out at the house. It is so hot we could not stay here! My brother has let us use a house he owns in Colu, mbia County until I can get the AC replaced. There is no internet there, so I only get to check on my phone. I’ll hopefully be back soon!

Very true Nick,my wife asked my why I spend all my computer time on C.T.? I told because I love it and I met her at the LOEWS CRESCENT,I also told her that I could spend all my time on porno sites would she like that better, she lightened up.Now she comes home and asks me who I have been taking to on C.T.and she even brought me some of the photos that Robin has posted for me.I know this is off-topic but no one on THIS page seems to mind.

Mike, you sent me the photo in your booklet on National Hills remember? And you included a small piece of the screen too. Yes I know we theatre lovers do some weird things…weird to outsiders but totally normal for us!

Robin,Nick and Tlsloews.I was on a mission to get that picture, the DM for Georgia theatres,Jeff Mobley snapped the picture.I took pieces of the screen.I had to do it.It would have been so easy to say, what the heck,It is an old theatre no one cares.I cared and got down there! I also hauled off a pick-up load of stuff from NATIONAL HILLS that was not going to the city dump.Nick,I don’t even remember sending you that picture.Should have been in my red ABC jacket.

Not that it matters, but Jeff Mobley use to date my ex-wife while they were in high school.Small world.theatre world. Robin, you might even know Jeff, sad picture,It was really sad being there.

Hank Fonda and Lucille Ball share the screen in “YOURS,MINE,and OURS” 5-22-68 rated G at National Hills. 5-17-69 sees Paul Newman in “WINNING” I remember several filling stations near National Hills had the one sheet taped on the glass window of the station.Moving up to my time we have “MOTHER,JUGS and SPEED” opening 6-11-76 rated PG.Does not live up to expectations at all. 6-20-80 “THE BLUES BROTHERS” hit town in a rowdy R-rated comedy for a rather classy theatre.
