The hotel was called Waverley Hotel. The hotel was on the corner of Cecil Avenue and Albany Highway. The hotel has demolished(2000’s?) for the widing of Albany Highway. The rest of that site is now a Mcdonalds restaurant.
The cinema is proposed to be demolished and apartments built in it’s place. There is a plan to hopefully save the cinema and turn it into a musuem about The Bee Gees.
This theatre(then called CulverTheatre) was seen briefly(up the street from the Freeway Angels building) in an episode of Chips(season 6, episode 11 – Day of the robot).

The drive-in may closed in 1962 when the oil operations finished? The post office closed in 1985.
The concession stand(and bio box?) might now be a hostel(Bushland Place Hostel).
