Hahaha….I guess I could just tell you it’s magic or ESP or something,,,,but it’s not! Every time somebody posts something on one of the theatres I have posted on I get an email. I thought everybody did…I wonder where yours go. Is that really your email?
What the heck do you do does your computer go off when i type your name in?There is much i don’t understand about computers that is my email,but Jennifer will have to get to it. However,its done.
Take you time Robin its not that important we just have a CT addiction.The school kids are more important.
I haven’t quit…I guess I’m just a horrible person! LOL TLSLOEWS sent me some more pics and I haven’t even put them on yet. I will though! My only excuse is that it’s the end of the school year and I am swamped! I’ll be back!

I saw “LEGAL EAGLES” there after it reopened as a triple. I had tears in my eyes.And it wasn’t Robert Redford that brought them on. A great Theatre ruined for a fast buck.“LEGAL EAGLES” was on the original Large screen,but it wasn’t the same.
Wow,Golly. I must have gottten Robin mad at me for missing the reunion party. Can you forgive me?
Oh, I will mail out the copies i make to the folks i worked with which is about 10 addresses.So you won’t have a bunch of postage.You can put you computer address on so they can contact you or my Address. Whatever.If we get a decent response of people wanting one then we will go for it I guess at Your place,or a restrauant somewhere.
Robin,You and Diane put together the info you are seeking to see what the response from old employees.What Time? What Day? that way you can judge the response.Certainly Put my name in for my old gang to know I am behind it.
Once you get a copy made mail one to me I plan to take the cover of my NATIONAL HILLS book and use it for a cover letter. They see it first and then read what you guys come up with. I think you should also push cinematreasures.org. I have told more than a few about CT,maybe you writing about all the stories will get peope to get on. Just ideas.
Not to let out Bill’s Secret,but he has a sound 16mm projector and at one of our parties showed trailers that were sent to the TV stations to play for ads.No Video in them days. The previews he showed were mainly movies that came to the IMPERIAL.It was neat to watch,but don’t let on if he is planning a surprize.
Well, we can certainly do it at your place,but you will have to settle for fewer folks.As i explained before,You in Hephizbah,and Me in Evans is too far for those sorta half way wanting to come and not. Our three biggest reunion parties,and Bill will back me up were two behind NATIONAL HILLS and one on Central Ave, AS much as I am loved in the gang of theatre folks when it moved to my place i think we had maybe five folks. I would still like to get one together next fall at that spot we hit last year.The food was really secondary.everyone just wanted to talk THEATRE. I left messages about me not coming on our other two theatres tO COVER MYSELF.
Sorry Mike….you weren’t here so you got talked about AND kicked off the planning committee!!! Haha I really do understand about work times being what they are. We missed you though — that’s why we called you! The folks here yesterday say they don’t want to wait for the fall…like Bill said, we may not be here in the fall…something to think about :( Anyway, he mentioned having something here because he says he has some film he wants to show. I don’t know how, but he says he can do it…
I wanted to get on before Robin did and let everyone know I was sorry I couldn’t make the NATIONAL HILLS, COLUMBIA SQUARE and IMPERIAL Party. I had planned when I got cut from the show call to drive there for at least an hour or two,but i got put on the Sound Call and had to stay the entire day. I work sound maybe three times a year. I know none of this makes sense to non-union people,but that is show business. I really would have been there and ate two big hamburgers with Cathy and Bill. Robin, I will help you with the next reunion somewhere around Augusta Mall,certainly a central location. I have a flyer I kept from the 80’s.we can maybe use it.
Yeah, mike did not do it. Mike thought many times of doing it on that marquee with my hero Clint E. But i guess i was just too lazy,or thought i will do it one night!

No he’s not. These were taken when we had Annie at National Hills. I guess it was about 1982. I never even worked with Mike. He had left the company before I started. I met him when he came to the theatre to visit our projectionist.

Right now my show call is at 2pm so they must have cut the show big time which happens when no tickets are sold. I can’t turn down the call because as Bill knows since he was a stagehand one can make close to two hundred a show.Money i need. But if there is any way i will be there. Couldn’t get ahold of the Tinneys. She is a greeter at Augusta Mall and he works in getting the paper out everyday.
Even if i don’t show up we {the gang from 74-80} plan on meeting back at that Mexican restraunt on Boy Scott Rd. This fall.
Hate to be mean, but I hope your show gets canceled so you can be here! I’ve decided that whoever shows up Saturday becomes our reunion planning committee ——YOU BETTER BE HERE EVEN IF IT’S ONLY FOR A LITTLE WHILE!!!
I tried to call Bill…Mark said he wasn’t there right now.
I will try and give him a call also the Tinneys,but i just don’t know if they would drive that far even though once you get on BOBBY JONES you can be there pretty quick. It took me more time to drive from Evans to Martinez,Than Martinez to your place.
