Saw superman 2 here in summer of 81.. It’s now a best buy.. Theater lasted until like mid 90’s… it was like an arthouse theater towards the end. Amityville 2 played here in 1982…
I wonder how this dude got inside.? I would love to see if they’re any seats left. you can see the screen dangling. thats cool.. when i went, i couldn’t find a way in. Quess if you got caught you could get arrested for breaking and entering on private property ..

in June of 1980 a horror film called Don’t go in the house played here and in 83 Frightmare played here..
the last movies i seen , well, the only time i was here was in June of 1991, saw a double of Ernest goes to jail and a film called fire birds with nick cage. I believe this was the last year for the drive-in to be open. by 92 it was for sale.. now its some kinda of nursery with no remembrances of the drive-in.
a low budget horror movies called THE PREY was shown here in June of 84/
coming home, that would put it around 78.. dawn of the dead was released in 79.
the movie Zapped played here in summer of 1982…
Mother’s day was shown here in sept of 1980.

actually its first run of movies was christmas week 1986..
the last american virgin was also shown here…
valley girl played there in April of 83..
valley was shot i think between october and november of 1982. so these 80’s pictures are right on…

I remember in the late 80’s early 90’s there were lots of fights in this parking lot…
first movie i saw here was Platoon in jan of 87..
paradise with phoebe cates played here in may of 82.. E.t. was big here too in summer of 82..
i first saw con-air here. so what ever year that came out, thats the year it opened. i belive it was 96.
