This theater is a prime location for at least one screen running art fair.
i have a better plan buy it for $50,000.00 put 10,000.00 down geta mortgage for$40,000.00 the payment would be $280.00 mo

The OAKDALE theater is alive and well as a live theater and has been restored.
As i am the President of Syville Chamber Of Commerce and once was a dm for this theater when Cineplex Odeon ran it ,i can tell you it is a house of changing mgt companys. This theater changer owners every few years , when Cineplex Odeon ran it the grosses (in the 80s)were BAD.They do a good bargin TUES all seats $5.00 still to this day.
this could be listed many ways depends on what era you are from.
The ua Smithtown drive in i think had a lake grove address/
This theater was known as the UA Syosset/
This was never agood house for UA /a very good theater up the road Pj cinemas a mom and pop multiplex that still does very well and has outlasted the big boys.
this is one of the few nice old theaters left on long island . This was part of the ua 3 way discount houses , the least succesfull of the 3 but respectable grosses . What year did this open this an old building.
Should be listed as Century’s 110 drive in
