Madstone announced that they were going out of business and all their theatres were closing in 7 June 2004. The theatre in San Diego is being picked up by Mann theatres and re-opening on 16 June, 2004. The theatre in Florida is going to remain open and being operated by a third party.

Does anyone have information on the Tampa Madstone theatre? Such as when it will reopen, what it will be called, and if they have a web site?

Madstone, as noted previously by Chuck 1231, reverted to Mann in Hazard Center in '04. In the Arts Section of last Sunday's S.D. Union-Tribune, it appears that the small UltraStar chain has now acquired these Hazard Center theaters near Mission Valley.
