Center Theatre for the Performing Arts owns and operates Center Theatre, an art deco theatre in the rural community of Dover-Foxcroft, Maine.  We are currently restoring the theatre and are presenting limited programming in the form of concerts and small stage performances.  Watch us grow.

Scotland's Surviving Cinemas: Cinema City and Beyond

Website dedicated to finding, cataloging and recording as many of Scotland’s classic movie theatres and cinemas as survive today. Has a special emphasis on the cinemas of Glasgow and Edinburgh, and thanks to a wide range of contributors is also a source of news and information as well as pictures and descriptions of current uses of the buildings.

Salon of the Theatres

The Salon of the Theatres, home to the Joseph Musil Studios and The American Museum of Theatrical Design, is now transformed to the STRAND Theatre for special events.

The Salon of the Theatres showcases over 40 scale models of theaters that were designed through the imagination of Joseph Musil or restored under his artistic direction.

Flicks™ Candy

Cinema Treasures user ‘Moviemanforever’ has mentioned saving his tube from his Flicks™ candy that he bought at Grauman’s Chinese Theater many years ago... thought he might be interested to know that Flicks are coming back in December 2004 to some theaters along the west coast!

The Columbia River Organ Club - Celebrating the Theatre Organ and its Music!

The Columbia River Organ Club is 501c charitable organization dedicated to theatre organ preservation and promotion of this uniquely American instrument. We sponsor theatre organ concerts, silent films screenings, music workshops and theatre organ restoration projects in Oregon and Southern Washington.
