Beck Architecture
Beck Architecture is the design branch of The Beck Group, a Dallas, Texas based design, building, and development company. Formerly an independent firm known as Urban Architecture, and as UAD Inc., the company began designing multiplex theaters for Cinemark in 1987, and has since designed projects for other chains as well, including Southern Theatres and Harkins Theatres.
Southern Theatres
Southern Theatres was founded in 2002 by George Solomon, Jr., and operates multiplex cinemas in the Southern United States under the names The Grand Theatres and AmStar Cinemas. There are currently 7 AmStar locations, and 11 Grand Theatres locations, with a total of 268 screens. The company is headquartered in New Orleans.
