Terrace Theater - Charleston IFF, April 23-26 2009.

Charleston International Film Festival is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, created to bring people together through the art and science of film.  Through this unique art, which has the power to touch our emotions and provoke thought like no other, we intend to promote the exchange of ideas, a greater cross-cultural awareness, and inspire others around the world.

CIFF accomplishes this with an international film competition, dedicated to showcasing the art and talent of emerging filmmakers from around the globe in an amazing city known for its deep-rooted American history.  There also is a screenplay competition.

Over the four day event, attendees will see the latest sneak previews and premieres of some of the best new films.  Features, animations, shorts and documentaries will be represented at the premiere art house, the Terrace Theater (www.TerraceTheater.com).  After the shows, enjoy the nightly sponsored after parties and deal making opportunities, seminars, workshops and special events.  On the 4th and final night of the festival, CIFF presents awards to honor the finest in filmmaking and writing displayed during the competition.
