This photo shows how the Ansonia appeared when it opened July 12, 1925. The store front on the right was EVERYONE’S SODA SHOP, ran by Miss Sara Brooke Drake, the owners daughter. L.L. Drake owned the theatre from 1925 until bought by Stewart and Everett in 1946.
