I remember just a few short years before it closed, as kids we used to ride our bikes there, go over a fence in the back and sit on the grass getting high watching the movies there LOL :)
I grew up in this theater in the early 70’s. Huge place, Giant single screen, spent every Saturday there for years. I still go in from time to time for a movie, and i’ll close my eyes and remember fondly of the old place. :)
