Here a comment for ya~
I was planning on having my wedding at the Penn on August 7, 2004. The theatre had closed for some remodelling, but I was assured everything was still “go” for our wedding date. Yeah that was until yesterday when I called to get a status update and found out THEY SOLD IT! So now 4 months before my wedding I have no venue. The previous owner still isn’t sure what the new owner has planned for it. Possibly a comedy club, restaurant or a bar.
