View towards the audience left side wall and standard seating area from stage left, with the balcony just visible.

Believe it or not, but just in front of the middle of the ballustrading would be just ahead of the front row of the old Empire 1.

The position from where the shot is taken would be about the 5th row of the old Empire 1 due to the curvature of the seating in the old Empire 1, and the inverse curvature of the Superscreen’s stadia. Or, to put it another way, near the 1st cove of the left splay wall of the old Empire 1, nearer the stage end than the first set of fire exit doors.
