All three iterations of the Village Cinema in East Rochester. At left is the Jerry Lewis Village Cinema opening in the Village Mall on May 22, 1974 with “Newman’s Law.”

In the middle is a September 1978 as the Box 5 Cinema showing repertory films but closing at year’s end.

At right on February 9, 1979 is the Waring Theater chain relaunched the venue as the Village Cinema as a sub-run dollar house. The theatre closed on February 28, 1984 with “The Man Who Love Women”
