the utline is clearly visible.
i think iv'e found moores drive-in
found it! you can see part of the ramps!
it appears that the outline although faint still remains after being closed for 70 years.
you can see the the last three or four rows of ramps in the field behind he mickeyd’s
closed and never reopened and untouched. the ramps, theater screen ,marquee, ticket booth, and concession/projectorth still remain all of which are in excelent condition!
the ramps still remain along with the concession stand and ramps.
cinema treasures list this theater as a twin with four hundred cars. that’s pretty small and almost unbelievable but all that remains of this theater is the outline which shows this was definitely the case and it was a twin!
and the foundation of the concessions stand and the ramps for both screens.
this address is closer 934 US-183, Cuero, TX 77954 the snack bar is gone! only the foundation and ramps remain. please update
found it today only the faint outlines and ramps remain!
the outline still remains and a few trace hints of the back ramps.
the ramps still remain along with part of the drive-ins fence. the property is also for sale with two for sale signs on what appears to be the remains of the marquee. also not certain but the ticket booth foundation still appears to stand as well. please update!
then why did it not appear at the location in the 1977 topo map either they made a mistake and missed it or this was short lived drive-in.
edit the concession stand also remains.
the ramps and projectors booth still remain please update.
no there gone G O N E Gone!
does not exist the twin drive-in across the street.
4500 Seymour Hwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76309 this address is right across from the address given of the drive-in next to this address which is KFDX TTV you can clearly see the ramps of what appears to be a twin screen drive-in. so is the above address wrong because i think that there were two drive-ins across the street from each other.
the concesion stand appears to stil be there though i’m not sure but the ramps still clearly remain.
most of the ramps still remain.
typed alco stores in la mesa tx into the google maps bar which lead to a dollar general which was next to an auto zone which has vacant land behind the auto zone which appears to have the faint remnants of ramps and the general drive-in shape. hover i can’t find any ecidence that was ever a drive-in here. this is that address.
2001 Lubbock Hwy, Lamesa, TX 79331
google has it listed as Hummels Drive-in Theater.
although faint it appears that the ramps from all three theater screens still stand!
