RKO Orpheum Theater - Walt Disney’s “The Absent-minded Professor”
Pictured is one of the showcases at the RKO Orpheum Theater during the 1961 debut of Walt Disney’s “The Absent-minded Professor” starring Fred MacMurray, Nancy Olson, Keenan Wynn and Tommy Kirk. The movie was nominated for 3 Oscars and won the Laurel Award for “Top General Entertainment.”
Fred MacMurray was the husband of Rock Island’s most famous actress, June Haver.
