Remember when everything in Corby looked like a warehouse even the cinema hahahaha

Spent many times having a beer or two on those steps, still can’t believe the location of this cinema, right in the middle of a housing estate, never seen anything like it before

It was nice to experience a classic old style drive-in movie while in America in a place that looks like it hasn’t changed much since the 50’s, I think it was like $7 for 2 movies which is amazing value. It was great getting watching a movie while lying down in the back of a truck, an experience and night I’ll never forget

Best cinema I’ve been to in America, had some great times here and seen some great movies here, this place completely lived up to my dream of what a American cinema would be like.

Finally Corby gets a cinema again and it’s one of the best I’ve been to, nice cozy cinema, nice atmosphere, feels much more like a classic old style cinema instead of these horrible multiplex places you get everywhere now, well done Savoy and Corby!

It just looks awful, like a warehouse not a cinema

That’s very sad news, although I don’t know how its managed to stay there empty for over 14 years now?

I would love to own a cinema, if only I had the money. I would show loads of old classics, cult, indie and retro movies, not just all the most popular latest releases.

Horrible cinema, only shows most popular movies, very over priced, no character to be found, run like a fast food restaurant. If you don’t like cinema or movies go to Odeon Kettering!

I loved this cinema! Have very fond memories of watching some very cool 90’s movies here. It may have been crappy and falling apart, but that just added to its original character, something you don’t find anymore with these franchise multiplex chain cinemas. I’ll never forget watching Tommy Boy (1995) here, in a mostly empty screening, made me fall in love with the cinema and Chris Farley who was also taken away from us too early a few years later. RIP Talkies, RIP Chris Farley.
