Photo here is definitely off… The original location of the theater is one block south of the pictured Google location, between Lydig Ave & Maran Place. lostmemory’s photo is the corner of Maran Place & White Plains Road. The block is now occupied by a clothing store, a pizzeria, a hair salon, a Chase bank & a CVS.
Knowing the area fairly well, I really think that the theater was on the opposite side of the street from the photos posted. There was a Dunkin Donuts a few doors down from the theater, closer to Roosevelt. I am pretty sure I saw Aladdin at this theater in ‘92, though I may be mixing it up with the theater on the other side of Roosevelt.
I think this theater was split into a twin in the late 70’s. I remember my father taking me to see Jaws at the Circle and I believe it was a twin at that point.
