A blurry 1939 view of Cleckheaton. The Savoy and Picture Palace (listed in Kinematograph Year Book 1940 with those names) were both being operated by Goodalls Pictures (1931) Ltd.
The Temperance Hall, on Brook Street, was listed in KYB 1914 as a 450 seat house run by the Cleckheaton Animated Picture Company Ltd. It isn’t in KYB 1927.
