An aerial view of the Capitol the day after the fire in April 1932. It shows clearly how the stage/fly-tower end and the entrance/foyers end of the building were not badly affected. It is the auditorium which is devastated. In the rebuild, the two side walls to the auditorium were demolished and their replacements were built further out, widening the auditorium.
