Close-up of projection booth in balcony of Sun Sing Theatre, Grant Ave., Chinatown, San Francisco

Projection booth in balcony of Sun Sing Theatre, Grant Ave., Chinatown, San Francisco. The view from the middle of what was once the auditorium suggests the booth is pretty much intact. No idea if film projectors are still in the booth. Because the booth is smack in the middle of the balcony, not built into the wall behind the balcony, I wonder if the Sun Sing (née the Mandarin) was originally built as a legit theater and later converted to a film house.
