Detail of a photo that ran in the July 31, 2009 issue of The Daily Sentinel of Grand Junction. The first location of the Starlite is visible to the left of the Veterans Hospital. The photo was described as circa 1960, considering the lack of drive-in screen but otherwise mostly intact ramps. It was from the Daily Sentinel collection of the Loyd Files Research Library Museum of Western Colorado.
