Closed early 1980s because the street was being widened. Demolished.
I use to go there all the time as a kid (I’m 65 now), saw Topo Grigio (spelling?) there on Saturday’s. I fondly remember this place, being from the south side. Skate land was a big deal back then too! I left Des Moines in 1980 and now live in WA state.
