On my second visit last week we watched a pristine 35mm Panavision® print of Sweet Charity. While it was in scope it only had mono sound. With their new sound system It sounded like stereo to me. No surrounds but the stage speakers had good crisp sound. To bad they did not get a 4 track mag stereo print. I wonder some day if Quentin will put in a 70mm Todd-AO projector and put a curve to the screen? He can show his ‘Hateful 8’ and other roadshow 70mm film prints from the 1950’s & 60’s.
