Some guests nearly fell over balcony railings as they strained to catch a glimpse of Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh entering the Royal Box of the Leicester Square Theatre for the world premiere showing of Laurence Olivier’s version of Shakespeare’s “Richard III.” The VistaVision-Technicolor epic would soon make its American debut, but on television as an NBC Color Special.

Hmm… The Royal Box arrangement This Theatre and the Odeon Leicester Square had a system of being abale to remove seats and risers to insert the Royal Box.. The last Royal Cinema event I attended at Leicester Square. They used normal seats and for some reason. They went and put the Royals infront of me…
