The new Century Riverpark 16 will be a Century ‘NextGen’ theater with an ‘XD’ (Extreme Digital) auditorium. NextGen: Every auditorium in the theatre complex offers wall-to-wall, ceiling-to-floor screens, Barco DLP projectors, RealD 3D versatility and 7.1 JBL sound systems. XD: The Cinemark XD auditorium will feature an oversized (38ft x 70ft), wall-to-wall and ceiling-to-floor screen, brand new plush seating, custom JBL sound system, and a Doremi server and Barco digital projector. The theater no longer uses 35mm prints. It has been upgraded with digital projection using a Christie digital projector, and has surround sound.
