I used to manage this cinema from 1999 to 2000, behind the screens all the dressing rooms and the original stage is still intact. During the conversion workmen built a suspended walkway behind the screens and unfortunatly smashed a hole in the left hand side of the stages frame, but the galleons are still there. The original toilets including fittings are also still inplace, when exiting screen 3 through the rear exit a door on the left takes you down to them.
From the staff room on the second floor you can gain access to the old projection suite, lounge and toilets (all with orginal features!).
The site has gotten worse and worse over the years with little or no money being spent on it, i believe Tesco Property have purchased the site and it is due to close Oct ‘05.
