The Drive-In Theatre Museum needs your help!

posted by Drive-In Theatre Museum on October 30, 2009 at 7:40am

The Drive-In Theatre Museum is a not for profit 501 (C) (3) organization.

We are looking for seats, screens and a Strong X 60B lamphouse power supply.

We just moved into our new location, a 17 year old 5 plex theatre in a mall and have a big opportunity to be able to show movies in the winter. In the summer we show movies on a 1924 Band Shell, weather permitting. We need seats and screens for 2 of the theatres.

You can see photos of our 4 window OZONE displays and 1 window of a local hardtop theatre at the web page here under a new museum location along with photos and 250 movie guides listings from 41 states, so far! We have about 150 different speakers and 50 different junction box’s and are always looking for more to add to the collection.

If anyone can help us, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Craig

Ahh! Based on a quick Google search, your museum is apparently in Mason City, IA. You might want to include the street address of your museum and the address for the park where the summer showing occur (especially helpful to put this on your web site). There may be many readers of this forum who might like to make the trip to see your collection. Good luck!

I cant make the trip from Cali. But with our local Drive In closed last year Im happy to tap on a "Donation" button to support the cause,if you add one. Or put some of those photos or old Drive In logos on some CafePress/Zazzle swag and I'll snap it up. (Im a sucker for swag!)
