Photo courtesy of Baltimore Sun Papers. This photo shows the Wrecking Co that handled the demolition of the Stanley Theatre in July of 1965. This was located on the right side of the entrance of the Stanley where the 4 person Box Office used to be. The Fallout Shelter sign was located just above the Coming Attractions box.
A fallout shelter is an enclosed space specially designed to protect occupants from radioactive debris or fallout resulting from a nuclear explosion.
