Just days prior to the Hi-Way 26 Outdoor Theatre’s grand opening, the screen is put into position. This screen would be replaced later by a wide screen which, itself, would be replaced by a strengthened and improved screen in 1966 which, ironically, would be blown away in a tornadic storm that same year and replaced by its final screen.
