Licensed Bar for the new build adjoining ABC 2 ; a 70mm Roadshow 900 seat venue which provided , together with the Coliseum Cinerama, a second ABC exclusive run house in the city.

The original adjacent ABC Regal (2058 seats) had a huge licensed bar of its own together with a restaurant which was to be later downgraded to a self service tearoom.The original wooden trays and cutlery with the triangular ‘ABC’ logo were still in use even after Cannon came along….
