Thanks DS for this great photo. This was my neighborhood theatre. It is still around but used as a church and at least they kept the nice marquee up. This was the place to go on Saturday for the kiddie shows. The manager kept the girls separated from the boys. We brought in hidden Caspers hot dogs from next door. Golden State Theatres/United CA Theatres kept on using old stale dogs from the day before and just re heated them for the kids thinking they did not care. May be time for the church folk to move on and turn the Fairfax back into a movie theatre for Oakland CA. A huge theatre for It’s area.
