Six years of hostilities were about to end. World War II was finally dragging to a close. During the darkest days “The Rex Theatre” had been a place of emotional refuge, but now there was a sense of purpose, of getting on with it, as Daylesford was about to move forward into the future.– contributed by Greg Lynch –
