Here’s a classic 8" wide by 10" long. color tinted souvenir memorial photo of comic actor Will Rogers, issued by the ‘Star’ movie theatre in Newmarket, New Hampshire, after Will Roger’s death in a plane crash in 1935. The smiling image of Will Rogers, with a facsimile signature, reading: “Yours for fun Will Rogers”. On the back of the photo reads; “In Memoriam. In Due Reverence and Homage to the Most Beloved Character, Will Rogers. The Management of the Star Theatre Newmarket, N.H. Tenders this likeness of this screen celebrity as a memento to its patrons”
