With the opening on 26th August 1971 of BCC’s Odeon/Forum Twin, the nearby Wintergarden was closed. Although used for occasional live shows, it was essentially left vacant for two decades until it was demolished in 1991. Colorized photo of seat-less auditorium from PAHST, Inc. (The Twin was multi-plexed in 1990 and closed in 2020.)
