The first Sydney picture palace to bite the dust, the Prince Edward was also the last to feature live entertainment. Noreen Hennessy played the 2/10 Wurlitzer pipe organ at Morning, Afternoon and Evening sessions six days a week for nearly twenty years, until February 1964.
