Hate to be a downer, but I’ve been searching old Microfilms of the “RJ,” trying to find photos of the late, great “Redrock Theatres.” This article was published back in 1999, when the Theater shuttered for good.

Man sad situation, always loved that place
I was there the night of one of the fires. A friend and I were seeing Practical Magic and there were maybe 8 or 9 others in the theater with my friend and I. The fire was in the back caused by a homeless person (from what we were told) the thing that was freaky is they had missed our theater evacuating and we all walked out to find fire doors down and the lights going off on the alarms but no sound. Everyone else was gone and when we went outside we saw the fire. So many movies I saw in this place, such a shame it went out that way and nothing saved.
