The Metropolitan has undergone a massive multimillion dollar restoration. It is now called the Metropolitan Entertainment Center. Open to the public as a dinner theatre, all the beautiful heritage elements we maintained and lovingly restored. Thanks to Canadinns for taking on the nearly 2 year project. The floor has been teared to accommodate tables, but the auditorium floor has not been levelled so the theatre feel is preserved. I personally toured the theatre and it is absolutely breathtaking! If you are in Winnipeg, you have to have dinner at the Met you will be glad you did. This Allan Theatre is back and ready for another 100 years of service and memories!
