This Seattle Loews shows what Rockaway was supposed to look like.

Once again, just like with Garden State 16, and Aviation 12, Rockaway was built by loews, But AMC took over LOEWS CINEPLEX weeks before It opened, however loews had not yet painted its giant logos on the front of the Building, but did so in the back, facing route I-80. Amc put a stop to that. AMC credited itself for the stadium seating that Loews had already built into its theatres. (Jersey Gardens Comes to Mind.) Overall its. Beautiful example off later Loews design.

Is the stadium seating used by Loews any different than what any other theatre chain was already building? What do you mean by “credited itself”?

This is a large and beautifully maintained theatre. Huge lobby too. Nextdoor to a large and upscale shopping mall.

The power system that AMC uses is also used in the Commons and Plaza stores. When power is out, it affects this theater as well.
