The Phile Isley circuit conceived of the Kiest as the most modern of Dallas Drive-ins. Could play Cinemascope, Vistavision, Cinemascope-55 and had a 110x65 square foot screen designed by David Yelsi made of spun glass, plastic and rubber. They also had a swimming pool, nursery, picnic area and playgrounds.
